No. I do 100% online counseling.

The short of it is that it’s counseling delivered across a distance. I have a more in depth explanation here.

Yes. I’m in-network with Aetna, United, Oscar, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Carelon.

Don’t see your insurance above? Don’t despair! You may be able to utilize your out-of-network benefits to get fully or partially reimbursed for our sessions. I offer courtesy billing by partnering with a company called Thrizer. With Thrizer I can check your benefits, file your claim for you, and help take the burden of getting sessions reimbursed off your shoulders.

Each session is $160.

Yes, I do. Reach out to me and we can work to find a session cost that fits within your budget.

45-53 minutes.

I use multiple CBT techniques. The one that differentiates anxiety treatment from others is the use of Exposure and Response (or Ritual) Prevention (ERP or exposure therapy). It involves facing your fear in a very structured, graduated manner until the fear is significantly reduced.

We will thoroughly assess the sources of anxiety and build a list of anxiety-inducing tasks (exposures). The tasks are ordered by difficulty level (0-100) and generally we start off at about a 40. These tasks will be completed both in and out of session with around 30 minutes minimum spent each day on exposures. This kind of therapy is laser-focused, intensive, and gets results!

It’s an evidence-based set of interventions shown to be effective in treating many issues. We’ll use it to help you master your anxiety by addressing unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. Read an in-depth explanation from the American Psychological Association.
